Quiet Body-Doubling – Terms & Conditions
Effective from: 5th June 2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Quiet Body-Doubling sessions facilitated by Michelle Allen aka Infinite Upstart (“we” or “us”).
By booking or attending a session, you agree to the following:
1. What This Is
Quiet Body-Doubling is a virtual co-working space designed to offer gentle structure, quiet accountability, and a non-judgemental environment. It is not coaching, therapy, or clinical support.
2. Who It’s For
These sessions are designed for adults (18+) who are seeking focused time to work on their own tasks. They may be particularly helpful for people who are neurodivergent or have attention-related challenges, but no formal diagnosis is required.
3. What You Can Expect
A quiet, structured session with light facilitation at the beginning and end.
You’ll be asked (but never pressured) to share what you’re working on at the start.
Cameras on are encouraged, but not required.
No one will comment on your work, productivity, or appearance.
4. What We Expect From You
You come to the session ready to work on something that matters to you.
You treat other participants with respect and kindness.
You keep any shared information confidential and don’t record or screenshot sessions.
5. Accessibility & Tech
Sessions are run via [Zoom or relevant platform]. You’re responsible for your own internet connection and access to the platform. We’ll do our best to offer an accessible experience, but please contact us in advance if you have specific access needs.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking, please try to give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Refunds are only offered if a session is cancelled by us or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
7. Data & Privacy
We will only use your information to manage your booking, communicate with you about the sessions, and send relevant updates if you opt in. We do not share your details with third parties.
8. Wellbeing Disclaimer
You are responsible for your own wellbeing during sessions. If you are currently experiencing a mental health crisis or require professional support, we recommend you contact your GP or relevant services.
9. Our Right to Refuse or Remove Access
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove someone from a session if their behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful.
